+16 hours at least, I'm sure. This is the first picture I actually spent this much time on, and I think the process was good for me. I will be re-vamping the first two pages also,

EDIT: // New logo test. I might use this, but for now I need a skinnier cover anyway. I'll update this one more time, probably a long time from now, before I print. I want to fix the fur texture and by then maybe I'll decide on a logo.
EDIT 2 :// Testing a new logo.... Critiques appreciated.
I'm such a sucker for stories with big cats, elemental magic, or fascinating lore. So when I saw that this comic had all three, I was thrilled to start reading, and it did not disappoint! The lore is fascinating, the characters are all enjoyable, and the plot is very interesting! Easily one of my favorite stories, and I cannot wait until you get it finished and published!
I think my favorite character is Tao; I just love his personality. He's so funny! XD And plus my favorite cats are cheetahs, so that's a bonus. Kotu and Akeli are super adorable as well; Akeli's line of "Go, blue fuzzy, go!" just cracked me up. I can't wait to find out what happens to them!
I do have a question, though. I'm also making a big cat story starring a cheetah, a snow leopard, and a clouded leopard, with a Siberian tiger antagonist. I've been working on this story since before I even read this comic, and I assure you, the plot is completely different as well as the characters' personalities and identities (plus there are no powers in my story, just war. Also it's not a comic, it's a novel series). Will the similarities between our protagonists and antagonists be a problem for you? I promise I never meant to rip off your characters!
Also another question...will this comic be in a single volume, or will it be a series with more than one volume?
Awesome cover, by the way. The logo looks fantastic!
1. It levels out the image (I think) by having a contrast to all the blues and purples.
2. It sorta gives you a feel for the general idea of the story, which could (potentially) draw more people to it with it's brightness and contrast.
But it could also drive people away at the same time. They might judge it based only on the cover and decide not to look at it any further. Logos also say a lot about the story, so people might judge it solely on that, too.
But that's just my opinion.
To me, it's a very bright and interesting cover that made me want to look at your comic (because I actually saw this first and went: "I wonder....", which ended up with me here now about a half hour later, making this comment after the fact).
I'll probably fave each page aswell xD This is so beautifully done and it's practically impossible to not fall in love with it. The eyes are so captivating and draw the viewer right in... well done!
I think it looks really great. I like the glow around it. The only thing I would say is to maybe clean up the lines a little bit? Maybe so it doesn't look so scribble-y? And the 'R' and 'A's look a little bid squished. But I really like the way you did the 'D', it really takes on the theme of the comic. 8DD
Hope it helped, somewhat. x3
