Is there anyone out there that would like to be a colourist for my graphic novel? I wasn't planning on having one, and I may still just keep it between Shai and I - but on the off chance there is anyone out there with phenomenal cosmic colouring and bg skills, I thought I'd ask X3
I still owe
EDIT:
Wow! Thank you everyone who responded!! You guys do phenomenal work! And thank you, thank you,
I posted a poll about the colouring style...because I know there has been some question as to which one I will do the comic in. Both would fit, though I'm kind of leaning toward smooth colouring as of now. What does everyone think?
As far as the pay, I'm thinking of offering 10 dollars a page for now, and more later once I get more money
EDIT #2:
Sorry guys!!!! It's taking awhile for me to look at everyone individually (but don't worry, I am). Thank you SO MUCH for applying, all of you are so great it's becoming so hard to choose! I have something sketched up, and I'm thinking of having everyone who applies participate in sort of a colouring contest for the job. I'll give out sketches and an artwork to runners up, too. Does that sound fair? My next journal will contain a link to the picture.
I don't do commishes any more for the time being. I'm still working on one! I maaay do one on special request, but that is a big maybe. Sorry! :/
Unfinished Trades:
I do not regularly accept trades from anyone - though if you have any of your art in my favorites I may consider
Commision Status:
CLOSED - send me a note to be put on the list, I will be accepting more shortly.

I hear it's amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with a tuning fork does a raw blink on Hara-Kiri rock! I need scissors! Sixty-one!
I've got pages drawn but not coloured.
Shai is probably colouring them (with my help) but I hate to put so much of that on him, as the backgrounds would probably be a lot of work to do.

and I'm glad you think so :B I'm trying to figure out new ways though, I'm getting a bit tired of simple cel shading.
And that's good that you have someone to color it. If you're worried about working him too much, you might consider limited color - that's what i've been doing on my most recent comic, and it really takes a lot of the pressure off. Doesn't work for every comic though...

There are a lot of talented artists on DA though waiting to be discovered
Depends on your funds but incentivising with pay always helps. You could contract someone as work-for-hire at like 15$ a page or something.
Erin worked as work-for-hire on issue 1, but for issue 2 she is working for revenue sharing
Best of luck though!
